These monsters are much more powerful then other monsters encountered, and are usually bullet-proof or damage-resistant. They drop Red Souls instead of Green Souls. (Red Souls recover 6 HP instead of 1) However, there are a few exceptions. Heavy Monsters can also appear as Mini-bosses in levels, such as the Giant Zombie and the Vamp Max.
